PRESS RELEASE

Eurazeo, a French investment company, has acquired a stake in 2BSI through a Transition Infrastructure Fund, becoming its new majority shareholder.

Founded in 1993, 2BSI operates in niche markets in the field of material and energy resource recovery. Its activities include the treatment of Class C hazardous wood (SRB and Gravaloire), the recovery of concrete posts and sleepers (via the SRB and Gravaloire divisions), the recovery of bio-waste (through its BME division) and the manufacture of composite posts (through its Transalpes Composites division).

As a result of this transaction, 2BSI and Eurazeo are committed to a sustainable energy transition, playing an important role in the recovery of resources.

De Gaulle Fleurance (May Jarjour, Partner, and Thibault Hubert, Senior Counsel) advised the « Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance Auvergne Limousin » (Kilian Khenifar), which arranged the bank debt intended in particular for the partial financing of this operation alongside from other lenders.
