De Gaulle Fleurance advised BPI, CIC and BRED in the financing of a portfolio of photovoltaic power plants developed by Rubis Photosol

De Gaulle Fleurance Avocats Notaires advised Bpifrance, Crédit Industriel et Commercial and Bred Banque Populaire on the financing of the construction of a portfolio of 8 photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 67 MW.

This portfolio includes two plants the electricity of which is sold by way of power purchase agreements entered into with Leroy Merlin. Thanks to its expertise in the field of agri-PV, Photosol has designed these two plants in such a way as to guarantee the maintenance and development of agricultural activity under the panels, enabling farmers to diversify their activities without impacting the quality and yield of the land.

De Gaulle Fleurance Avocats Notaires advised the lending banks in this transaction (Jonathan Souffir, partner, and Pierre Bouijoux, associate).

“We are delighted to have advised BPI, CIC and BRED on the financing of Rubis Photosol’s first corporate PPAs,” explains Jonathan Souffir, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance.
