How does it work?
.eth” is much more than just a domain name. Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a blockchain protocol that allows web 3.0 and NFT players to have a unique and memorable username. It is an essential exchange and communication tool to operate in this new space.
This ENS service makes it possible to associate a humanly intelligible name with Web 3.0 sites as well as with the details of the various electronic wallets used for Web 3.0 activity (messaging, smart contracts, crypto payments, etc.).

Companies thus have a monopoly on an authenticated name for a minimum period of 12 months. And users can interact with it in complete security.
