De Gaulle Fleurance advised Sofiprotéol on its investment in FrenchFood Capital

De Gaulle Fleurance Avocats Notaires assisted Sofiprotéol in its investment in FrenchFood Capital, allowing FrenchFood Capital, to become a key player in the service of food transition.

Through a double transaction, FrenchFood Capital becomes one of the leading investors in French companies in the food sector.

By becoming a minority shareholder in FrenchFood Capital, Sofiprotéol, Avril’s financing and development company, offers to FrenchFood Capital its expertise in the world of agriculture and its challenges, with a view to strengthening its impact on all players in the agri-food value chain.

Concomitantly, FrenchFood Capital integrates Agro Invest and its team, bringing total assets under management to 400 million euros, and creating a new Small Cap fund, with a target size of 100 million euros dedicated to SMEs in the agri-food sector.

This structuring equity transaction for FrenchFood Capital marks a significant step in its expansion. Sofiprotéol is thus supporting FrenchFood Capital’s growth and contributing to its ambition to serve food transition.
