De Gaulle Fleurance assisted Groupe IDEC on its equity stake acquisition in the Eden Park Group

Groupe IDEC, a major player in real estate committed to promoting sport and its values, acquired an equity stake in the Eden Park Group, a long-standing partner of its sports branch, IDEC SPORT, thus confirming the long-term relationship between these two groups.

As France will be hosting major sporting events in 2023-2024 such as the Rugby World Cup and the Olympic Games, this strategic alliance comes at just the right time to demonstrate the shared desire of both companies to open up to new development prospects in France and internationally, while strengthening their ability to offer premium quality products and services to their customers.

Groupe IDEC is thus pursuing its policy of constant growth by expanding its influence in one of its preferred fields, corresponding to the brand image that Groupe IDEC strives to convey.

De Gaulle Fleurance advised Groupe IDEC on the legal and transactional aspects of this transaction (Julie Cornély, partner, and Manon Oravec, experienced M&A transactional lawyer; Muriel Guillin-Modaine, partner, and Brieux Le Fur, junior associate, on the Real Estate matters; Francine Le Péchon-Joubert, partner on IP matters; Deborah David, partner, Tiphaine Gaubert, senior associate and Camille Deudon, junior associate on Labor matters; Lionel Attal, senior counsel and Hermien van der Vynckt, senior associate on contracts matters and commercial litigation).

“We are particularly proud to have accompanied Groupe IDEC in this strategic partnership, which confirms the lasting synergies between these two players who share a passion for sport and common values”, explains Julie Cornély, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance.

In addition to De Gaulle Fleurance, Groupe IDEC was advised by Crowe RSA (financial audit) and June Partners (financial and strategic consulting).
