Examples of support business litigation

We represented a leading company in the medical database field in a multi-party litigation related to the consequences of a condemnation by the French Competition Authority for abuse of dominant position in this market. We pleaded in a subsequent procedure aimed at obtaining compensation for damages (estimated at several hundred million euros), in which the plaintiff also involved the acquirer of the company’s assets related to this activity.

We defended a leading company in engineering, design, and consulting in a complex commercial dispute involving judicial expertise concerning four pylons designed in France. We supported our client throughout the expertise procedure by drafting numerous conclusions. Following the submission of the expert’s report, our client was summoned before the commercial court.

We advised shareholders in the context of a family dispute related to a major international agri-food group. One family branch initiated an action for the annulment and dissolution of the holding companies controlling the group, with the objective of terminating the family control and facilitating greater liquidity of their holdings.

We represented an international engineering and consulting company in a complex dispute related to metal structures designed in France. After assisting our client during the judicial expertise and drafting numerous memorandums, we defended them before a French commercial court, challenging its jurisdiction on the grounds of an arbitration clause. This case was notable for the involvement of foreign companies and raised issues of international law.

We represented a leading medio group in a dispute against another major player in the sector regarding the unauthorized free-to-air broadcasting of its channels. The group sought several million euros in damages for unfair competition. The Paris Civil Court ruled in favor of our client in the first instance, ordering the opposing party to pay a significant compensation.
