Our CSR commitment

For over twenty years, our integrated group of lawyers and notaries has been supporting companies in their environmental, social and digital transitions. Committed to our clients to develop their responsible investments, their sustainable projects, and to implement their vigilance plan, we are also devoted to upholding our environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments. We have formalized our commitment through a CSR charter. To turn this commitment into reality, we carry out various initiatives that have a positive impact on the planet and on people.

Social commitment

We fight against all forms of social isolation; we promote equality, we value diversity, we tackle discrimination – whether related to gender, social origin, religion, skin colour, sexual orientation, age or disability – and encourage the commitment and loyalty of our employees.

Inclusive culture

Our company is committed to inclusive recruitment and diversity, with:

  • 53% of its workforce is women
  • An international culture

Since 2020, we have been sponsoring the Association Droit comme un H!, to facilitate access to the legal professions for students with disabilities.

Formation

We are committed to helping the people who work for our Group grow, as well as future lawyers. Thus, nearly 1,000 hours of training were provided to them in 2023. Also, about twenty lawyers give their time to teach law to students.

In addition, De Gaulle Fleurance has set up the Climate School, an online training course on climate issues. Available to our 200 professionals, this training enables each of us to better understand the causes and consequences of climate change, as well as the actions we can take as individuals and as a company to mitigate our impact.

Ethics, transparency and confidentiality

We are committed to acting ethically and professionally in all cases entrusted to us.

We advise our clients with independence and transparency (publication of an annual report).

We contribute to the fight against fraud, money laundering and corruption likely to harm the common good.

In addition, to respect professional secrecy, we have set up an IT system to secure informations entrusted to us by our clients.

Environmental commitment

To contribute to the fight against global warming and the biodiversity collapse, we carry out a responsible environmental policy. In fact, we disseminate it to our teams and other stakeholders to ensure its practical application.

We support the Plateforme Verte (initiated by our partner Sylvie Perrin), a Do-Tank that brings together the players of the energy transition (energy producers, financiers, companies, etc.) who work together to find concrete solutions in order to accelerate this transition.

De Gaulle Fleurance was also behind the creation of the Sol Solidaire association, in partnership with ADEME, the BPCE Group, Enerplan, Tecsol and the Social Union for Housing. Sponsored by the actor/director Jean-Pascal Zadi and the actress Amelle Chahbi, the association contributes to financing the installation of solar panels on the roofs of social housing projects. The energy produced is distributed free of charge to the inhabitants. An initiative that combines social and environmental progress!

Governance

Our conviction: the true value is our human capital. The shares held by lawyers and notaries are de-patrimonialized. This principle, enshrined in our statutes, is the “life insurance” of our Group. It guarantees the transition to the new generations of partners who will not have to buy out the shares of their predecessors.
