PRESSE RELEASE

With the arrival of Cyril Tour, De Gaulle Fleurance strengthens its service offering in the field of financing (particularly capital markets) and banking and financial regulation.

He has significant expertise in transactional corporate finance (including restructuring aspects) and real estate finance, as well as in project finance (particularly in the renewable energy sector and in Africa), trade finance and asset finance. He has also developed a practice in capital markets and structured finance (including securitization and factoring transactions).

He also advises economic actors on the regulatory aspects of their operations and projects, in particular credit operations, payment services and investment services, for a wide variety of products in different sectors, including new technologies, FinTech and digital assets.

He holds an LL. M from the University of Texas, a DEA in Anglo-American business law from the University of Paris-I and a DESS in international trade law from the University of Paris-X, Cyril Tour has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1997.

“My complementarity with the teams in place fits perfectly with the full service offer in financing developed by De Gaulle Fleurance” explains Cyril Tour, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance. “Moreover, the financing market is evolving with the emergence of new players and new techniques (notably through the use of blockchain…) and it is transforming itself to seize these opportunities while adapting to the constantly changing regulatory requirements.”

“We are delighted to welcome Cyril Tour,” said Louis de Gaulle and Henri-Nicolas Fleurance, chairman and chief executive of De Gaulle Fleurance. “His expertise in bank and bond financing, and banking and financial regulation allows De Gaulle Fleurance to enrich its service offering, at a pivotal moment for banking and finance players and companies.” In addition to the arrival of FinTech and the development of digital assets, the uncertainties linked to the current macroeconomic context are all challenges that make legal advice more essential and strategic than ever”.
