
De Gaulle Fleurance strengthens its position in International Arbitration with the appointment of Capucine Davy – du Pac de Marsoulies as partner
De Gaulle Fleurance announces the promotion of Capucine Davy – du Pac de Marsoulies to the position of partner.
A graduate of Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, Capucine Davy – du Pac de Marsoulies specialises in international arbitration and advises investors and governments on their disputes and major projects, mainly in the extractive (mining and oil & gas), energy, infrastructure and construction sectors. With a solid experience gained in international law firms, she advises a diverse clientele in Canada, Australia, China, France and Africa. After three years in Dakar, where she practised in a Senegalese law firm, she has in-depth expertise in economic and legal issues in Africa and OHADA law.
Committed to her work, she founded the AfricArb association in 2018, dedicated to promoting arbitration in Africa, and actively participates in several professional networks, including the OHADA commission of the Paris Bar, of which she is a member of the executive committee, the World Association of Mining Lawyers (WAOML), Arbitral Women and the Inter Pacific Bar Association (IPBA). She also teaches International Arbitration in Africa as part of the university degree in economic law in Africa at Paris II.
