Véronique Bruneau Bayard joins De Gaulle Fleurance as a senior counsel.

 

After several years working for international law firms in Paris and London, Véronique Bruneau Bayard has developed solid experience in assisting French and foreign companies with the organization, structuring and implementation of their governance, compliance, CSR and risk management policies.

She is a specialist in auditing and implementing compliance programs, including risk mapping, codes of conduct, internal and external alert systems, and specialized training. She also has solid expertise in forensic investigation into fraud, corruption and misuse of corporate assets.

She provides listed companies with advice on all issues relating to financial communication, regulated information and corporate governance (dialogue with proxy advisors, preparation of shareholders’ meetings, board evaluation, etc.).

Finally, she assists general management in their decision-making process and in the implementation of their CSR policy: audit, benchmark, purpose, duty of care, etc.

Véronique holds two masters degrees from the Université Panthéon-Assas, one in business and tax Law, the other in economics and management, and has been a member of the bar for over 20 years. She is a former teacher of “Regulation and Corporate Governance” at HEC business school, and taught governance and compliance in the Master’s program in Business Law and Ethics at the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
