De Gaulle Fleurance strengthens its ability to support cross-border transactions with an office in Geneva

Partner Patrice Lefèvre-Péaron will head up De Gaulle Fleurance Geneva and a team of 5 people.

Switzerland is known for its banks, but its economy is also based on its industry, particularly precision manufacturing. Franco-Swiss trade is significant. Switzerland is France’s 2nd largest foreign investor and 9th largest trading partner, while France is Switzerland’s 5th largest trading partner and 3rd largest foreign employer. More generally, Switzerland attracts investors from all over the world, particularly from the EMEA region.

With 25 years’ experience, Patrice Lefèvre-Péaron has been a member of the Geneva Bar for several years and is listed in Chambers Global as a Foreign Lawyer. He advises companies setting up in Europe on structuring their investments from abroad, particularly from the United Arab Emirates.

His practice focuses on the cross-border operations of economic players (corporate M&A, finance-banking, international litigation, cross-border tax and social security). When it comes to working on pure Swiss law matters, it relies on local partner firms.

“Working with a leading full-service French law firm like De Gaulle Fleurance is a strategic move at this stage of our development,” explains Patrice Lefèvre-Péaron. “It will enable us to round out our range of services, particularly in the area of regulatory and cryptoassets.

“Relying on Patrice Lefèvre-Péaron and his team in Switzerland is an advantage for us”, say Louis de Gaulle and Henri-Nicolas Fleurance, Chairman and CEO of De Gaulle Fleurance. “It’s a complementary service that we offer to companies that want to set up in Europe, as Switzerland is an entry point for many players and investors, including those that we support from our subsidiary in Abu Dhabi”.
