Partner
Anker Sorensen is mainly involved in the sale and acquisition of under-performing and healthy companies on a sell or buy side basis, the negotiation of partnership agreements in France and abroad, debt restructuring, the closure of industrial sites and related litigation.
He regularly advises clients in Northern Europe and the UK.
He was awarded the Council of Europe Prize at the end of his postgraduate studies at the Strasbourg Business School. His book “Corporate Rescue Procedures in France”, published in 1996, was the subject of a foreword by the President of the Paris Commercial Court. He also chaired the French section of the Turnaround Management Association until 2007. In 2014, he was named a “top lawyer” by Thomson Reuters and selected to write an article on financial reorganisation trends and strategies, published in the Aspatore Thought Leadership magazine.
Anker Sorensen is a member of the editorial board of the monthly publication International Corporate Rescue and writes regularly for French and international legal and financial journals.
He is reglarly named by Best Lawyers for his M&A and Restructuring work in France.
He is permanently based in Luxembourg
