We develop our activities in Africa through our offices in Paris and Brussels as well as from our subsidiary De Gaulle Fleurance EMEA Ltd registered in Abu Dhabi (ADGM), through which we deal with cross-border matters between Africa and the Gulf region.
Our assets to fulfill the ambitions of our public and private clients, active on the African continent (governments, investment funds, public and private African companies, African subsidiaries of French companies, French or international companies active in Africa) consist in:
- An expertise in line with Africa’s economic development drivers, particularly in the extractive sector, energy transition, transport, infrastructure, urban planning and real estate, telecommunications and new technologies including cryptocurrency, healthcare and the agribusiness industry;
- Providing the full range of business law services in relation to Africa, including large-scale projects, corporate M&A, financing (project, asset and corporate finance as well as Islamic finance), international arbitration, training and capacity building for governments;
- Knowledge of OHADA law and regional regulations (WAEMU (UEMOA), CAEMC (CEMAC), ECOWAS, etc.); and
- Leading local partnerships allowing us to work in synergy and to build international teams on multi-jurisdictional projects.
