Jean-Baptiste Santelli deals mainly with banking, finance and corporate law. He advises global corporate groups, banks, investment funds, DFIs and governments on syndicated lending, structured finance, debt restructuring and M&A transactions.
In addition, Jean-Baptiste is the manager of De Gaulle Fleurance EMEA Ltd., a company operating in Abu Dhabi (ADGM) under a legal consultancy license, in charge of our firm’s African and Middle-East practice. In that context, he is acting on a daily basis on transactions involving Africa, the Gulf region and Europe in coordination with the various firm’s experts (OHADA law, infrastructure, international arbitration, commercial law, etc.).
He has also a specific experience in Islamic finance.
Jean-Baptiste is recognized for his creative and strategic approach of complex matters.
He is a regular speaker at international conferences. He is a lecturer at HEC Paris business school and at Paris Dauphine University on banking and finance law matters.
