De Gaulle Fleurance assisted PAYTOP, the French subsidiary of the Triple-A Group, in obtaining its authorization as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP).
This authorization, issued by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) pursuant to the Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA), enables PAYTOP to fully comply with European regulatory requirements and offer its crypto-asset-related services in all European Union member states.
This new milestone is part of the regulatory journey undertaken by the Triple-A Group and its French subsidiary, PAYTOP, which is authorized as a payment institution by the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR).
Obtaining the CASP authorization thus marks a decisive step in the Triple-A Group’s European development strategy, providing it with a harmonized and secure framework for the deployment of its activities.
PAYTOP is the second French payment institution to obtain CASP authorization.
As part of this transaction, PAYTOP was advised by Anne Raoul-Tardieu, a lawyer at the law firm ARAO AVOCAT, and subsequently by Anne Maréchal, Partner, Adam Stolcz, and Irène L’Homme, lawyers at De Gaulle Fleurance.
Anne Maréchal, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance: “Obtaining CASP authorization is a major milestone for Paytop and the Triple-A Group, which can now operate within a unified and robust European regulatory framework. This rigorous authorization serves as a powerful driver of trust and competitiveness for industry players. We are delighted to have supported Triple-A in this strategic advancement.”
