Alexandra Nowak focuses primarily on energy, environmental and CSR matters.

 

Prior to joining De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, she worked for the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office at the U.S. Mission to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as Program Specialist for 8 years.

 

During that time, she was seconded to the International Energy Agency to work on off-grid access to electricity issues and help establish and manage an intergovernmental initiative, which aims to advance women’s leadership in the clean energy sector.

 

Before shifting her work focus to environmental and energy issues, she specialized in Entertainment Law and accepted work with production companies, talent agencies and a law firm in the United States where she resided for 11 years.

 

She has authored blog posts for Safe Planet, the United Nations Campaign for Responsibility on Hazardous Chemicals and Waste after garnering positive interest for her thesis on the Environmentally Sound Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

 

Alexandra currently co-chairs three working groups on Sustainable Mobility, Energy Storage and Agrivoltaics for the association La Plateforme Verte.

 

Alexandra is a dual French and U.S. citizen.
