De Gaulle Fleurance assists Banque Delubac & Cie in obtaining MiCA authorization

24 October 2025

De Gaulle Fleurance assisted Banque Delubac & Cie, a French bank founded in 1924, in obtaining European MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) authorization.

The first French bank to be registered as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) with the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) in 2022, Banque Delubac & Cie has taken another step forward by obtaining MiCA authorization.

MiCA authorization aims to provide a harmonized structure to all activities related to crypto assets in the European Union, to guarantee investor protection, to prevent market abuse and to strengthen legal safety for players in the sector.

Thanks to this approval, Banque Delubac & Cie can now offer its full range of crypto asset services in Europe: secure custody, purchase, sale and exchange of crypto assets within a regulated framework, discretionary management of crypto asset portfolios, staking and asset tokenization.

Banque Delubac & Cie was advised on this transaction by Anne Maréchal (partner), Julie Bader (senior solicitor), and Clara Zerbib (solicitor) at De Gaulle Fleurance.

“We are proud to have assisted Banque Delubac & Cie, one of the first banks to obtain approval as a crypto asset service provider under a specific procedure provided for in the MiCA regulation for banks. This achievement demonstrates that innovation and compliance can go hand in hand and shows the way for regulated and responsible digital finance,” said Anne Maréchal, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance.
