
De Gaulle Fleurance is advising the Caisse des Dépôts on the restoration of the Vauban Citadel in Belle-Île-en-Mer
De Gaulle Fleurance has advised Caisse des Dépôts, via la Banque des Territoires, on its investment with the Accor Group for the restoration of the Vauban Citadel in Belle-Île-en-Mer.
This strategic partnership marks a major step in the restoration and conversion of one of the most iconic historic monuments on the French coast. It is set to become the flagship French location for the Emblems Collection brand, the Accor Group’s new luxury brand, by 2027.
The project demonstrates the shared ambition of Accor and the Banque des Territoires to combine heritage restoration, economic development, regional attractiveness and cultural transmission. It is also part of a long-term investment strategy aimed at enhancing the value of an exceptional site and boosting the region’s vitality.
De Gaulle Fleurance advised the Caisse des Dépôts comprised partners Catherine Castro, Jean-Christophe Amy and Frédéric Paquet, senior manager Anne Kuhanathan, senior counsel Claire Haas, senior associate Laura Chemla, experienced associate Brieux Le Fur and legal counsel Cyril Legendre.
