De Gaulle Fleurance advised Caisse d’Epargne Ile de France and Banque Populaire Rives de Paris on the financing of Abenex’s investment in Phenomen
Phenomen, a French specialist in cancellation insurance brokerage, is valued around €50 million by Abenex, which has acquired more than a third of its capital by injecting nearly €20 million.
Phenomen, which has traditionally focused on the corporate market, is now focusing its development on its BtoBtoC Meetch business: an on-board insurance platform for the ticketing, travel and transport sectors.
Abenex’ teams will contribute all their expertise to enable Phenomen to consolidate its leadership in France and accelerate its implementation in Europe and internationally.
De Gaulle Fleurance (May Jarjour, Partner, and Racha Wylde, Senior Manager) advised Caisse d’Epargne Ile de France (Anna-Lou Grellier and Steven Neveu) and Banque Populaire Rives de Paris (François Golhen), as arrangers of the bank debt to finance this transaction.
