Christian Le Roux joins De Gaulle Fleurance as Of Counsel, responsible for development strategy
De Gaulle Fleurance announces the arrival of Christian Le Roux as Of Counsel, responsible for development strategy. With a career that combines experience in public institutions, corporate management, and the practice of law, he brings to De Gaulle Fleurance group cross-functional expertise in the legal, regulatory, and institutional challenges faced by businesses.
A member of the Paris Bar, Christian Le Roux has developed in-depth knowledge of the interactions between businesses and government agencies. In particular, he assists companies in navigating their relationships with government agencies and regulatory authorities within complex legal and regulatory environments. He has also led high-stakes mediation proceedings, particularly in the infrastructure sector, which require balancing economic, institutional, and regulatory interests.
His arrival is part of De Gaulle Fleurance’s development strategy and strengthens the group’s ability to support companies in their strategic projects by drawing on its in-depth knowledge of the business world and public institutions.
Extensive experience in both corporate management and public institutions
Christian Le Roux served for ten years as general counsel of an SME, where he was also a member of the executive committee. In that role, he oversaw legal and regulatory affairs, human resources, communications, public affairs, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). This hands-on experience gives him a practical understanding of the strategic, economic, and organizational challenges faced by executives.
His career has also led him to hold several high-level positions within public institutions. In particular, he served as chief of staff to the president of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE), chief of staff to the Mediator of the Republic, chief of staff to the Minister of Civil Service, Regional Planning, and State Reform, and chief of staff to the president of the Association of Mayors of France (AMF).
He has also held several elected offices in Paris, notably as first deputy mayor of the 7th arrondissement and as a member of the Paris General Council.
“Christian Le Roux’s background is particularly valuable because of his knowledge of the three worlds in which our clients operate: business, law, and public institutions. His experience with regulatory issues, public affairs, and complex mediations enriches our multidisciplinary approach and supports our growth ambitions,” said May Jarjour, partner and member of the executive committee at De Gaulle Fleurance.
A Commitment to Economic Development and Major Social Issues
Christian Le Roux is also active in several economic and nonprofit organizations. He is vice president of the agri-food division and chair of the innovation sector at MEDEF International, as well as an ambassador for WWF France’s “Odyssée du vivant” initiative. A participant in the 64th national session on “Defense Policy” at the Institute for Advanced National Defense Studies (IHEDN), he is also a lieutenant colonel in the Army’s citizen reserve.
“Companies operate in an increasingly complex regulatory environment that requires a thorough understanding not only of the regulations themselves but also of how the institutions responsible for enforcing them function. Today, there is a growing need for dialogue and mutual understanding between companies and government agencies to streamline their relationships, ensure the success of projects, and facilitate their implementation. With this in mind, I am pleased to join De Gaulle Fleurance, whose multidisciplinary approach and entrepreneurial culture are true assets in supporting companies with their development projects,” said Christian Le Roux, Of Counsel at De Gaulle Fleurance.
