Areas of practice in Employment Law

Individual and collective disputes

We represent companies in all types of employment disputes, advise on litigation strategies, and act on their behalf  before civil, administrative, and criminal courts, as well as in seeking amicable settlements where feasible.

Working time

We advise companies on managing working hours  (full-time, part-time, overtime, on-call duties, and annual fixed-day agreements) in accordancewith collective agreements and labor legislation.

Employee savings plans

We guide companies  inimplementing retirement savings plans, employee shareschemes, and supplementary pensions, optimizing social benefits while complying with taxand legal frameworks.

Employee representative bodies

We assist companies in the implementation of  employee representative bodies and the management of  these institutions (Works Councils, unions). We ensure they function properly and in line with  legal obligations related to labor relations.

International mobility

We help clients manage the international mobility of their employees, ensuring compliance with employment contracts, social security , and tax issues related to expatriation and impatriation.

Collective bargaining

We support companies in negotiating collective agreements, taking into account industry-specific requirements.

Corporate restructuring

During mergers, acquisitions, or partial asset transfers, we assist clients in managing social restructuring, safeguarding employee rights, and effectively handling employment protection plans 

Individual employment relations

We prepare  employment contracts and implementtermination procedures, including special procedures for the dismissal of  protected employees.

Collective employment relations

We advise on issuesrelated to employee representative bodies, professional elections, and collective bargaining.

CSR, siversity, and social policies

We help companies meetCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development standards by integrating these into their policies

Workplace health and safety

We assist in implementing workplace health and safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating occupational risks. We also handle cases of work-related accidents and illnesses, representing clients in courts for claims of gross negligence. 

Social security and welfare

We advise companies on all aspects of the social security system, including URSSAF audits, and the setup of employee welfare benefits and supplementary retirement schemes.We also manage international mobility issues by applying relevant international and bilateral social security agreements, as well as EU regulations.

 

Executive status and compensation

We support companies with all aspects related to executive status and remuneration, including negotiating executive remuneration packages and drafting clauses that govern delegations of authority and dual-status roles (executive and employee). We also oversee the termination of executive appointments and manage related disputes.

 

Examples of support in employment law

We assisted a company specializing in industrial and household waste management in acquiring a business under judicial administration during  a competitive process before the Commercial Court. Our work focused on preparing the social aspects of the acquisition bid  to maximize its likelihood of success. We also prepared the client for their presentation to the Works Council, highlighting the most persuasive arguments in favour of the takeover.

We supported a company in managing daily HR-related issues, such as draftingprofit-sharing agreements, drafting an anti-violence and anti-harassment charter, implementing compliance policies, handling disciplinary processes, modifying working hoursarrangements, and addressing health and safety issues, including workplace accidents.

We assisted a family-owned business in acquiring a company by conducting a social audit and recommending strategies forintegrating employees into the new structure. We also supported the client in negotiating warranties on social matters.

We assisted an industrial group in reorganizing its French entities, involvingthe merger of two entities followed by the separationof certain business activities.As part of this process, we advised the group on negotiating a harmonized collective status for all entities.

We drafted various agreements, including transition and harmonization agreements, a collective performance agreement, a workplace well-being agreement, profit-sharing agreements, and agreements on working hoursand variable orsupplementary remuneration.
