De Gaulle Fleurance has advised Fundcraft, a leading European provider of digitalized fund operations for alternative investment funds, founded in Luxembourg. Fundcraft offers a proprietary technology platform combining regulated AIFM services and integrated operational expertise, covering in particular fundraising, investor onboarding, register maintenance, accounting, reporting and governance, in order to support managers of alternative investment funds (ELTIFs, evergreen funds, etc.) on a large scale.

De Gaulle Fleurance has assisted Fundcraft in its expansion into France, including the opening of an office in Paris, the recruitment of a dedicated team, and for obtaining its authorization as a portfolio management company issued by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.

This full AIFM authorization enables Fundcraft to offer its full range of fund management and administration services directly from France, in compliance with the European regulatory framework set out in the AIFM Directive, and to access the European passport to operate across all Member States of the European Union.

Throughout this process, Fundcraft has been assisted by our lawyers: Mireille Mull-Jochem, Partner; Léa Oïffer-Bomsel, Senior Manager; and Nicolas Voinçon.

Thanks to this structuring step, Fundcraft – which already administers more than 250 funds – is accelerating its growth in the French private assets market and strengthening its position as the leading operational partner for fund managers seeking a digital, scalable infrastructure that complies with the highest regulatory standards.

Mireille Mull-Jochem, Partner, and Léa Oïffer-Bomsel, Senior Manager, said: “We are delighted to have assisted Fundcraft through this strategic phase of its development in France. The granting of this AIFM authorizations demonstrates the strength of its business model and its ability to meet European regulatory requirements whilst offering an innovative technological solution for fund managers.”
