De Gaulle Fleurance promotes Magalie Dejoux, Céline Forthomme, Sophie Gibert and Diego Romero, Senior Counsels.

Magalie Dejoux

Magalie Dejoux is recognized by her clients for her efficiency and meticulous approach to handling cases. She also stands out for her responsiveness, dedication and interpersonal skills.

She advises public and private entities on public law and energy law, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation. In public law, she deals in particular with issues relating to public procurement law, state aid law and regulated sectors. She also works in the renewable energy sector, notably on regulatory aspects and issues relating to town planning and environmental law.

Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance in 2018, Magalie Dejoux practiced at a leading French law firm specializing in public law. She holds a Master II in Public Procurement and Partnerships and a Magistère in Public Business Law from the University of Montpellier 1.

Céline Forthomme

Céline Forthomme is highly regarded by her clients for her technical expertise, her interpersonal skills and her ability to explain complex legal issues in simple terms. This approach, which is both rigorous and accessible, enables her to build a lasting relationship with the companies she advises.

She advises companies on the protection and exploitation of their intellectual property rights, considering the specific challenges of each project. In particular, she helps them to define and implement strategies aimed at protecting and defending their trademarks and domain names, both in France and internationally. She is also involved in conducting industrial property audits and in administrative litigations, coordinating with local lawyers where cases have an international dimension, and works closely with customs authorities in the implementation of detention and seizure procedures.

Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance in 2009, Céline obtained a master’s degree in international and European Business Law, as well as a master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Nice.

Sophie Gibert

Sophie Gibert has built relationships of trust with her clients through her meticulous case management and clear advice. She also stands out for her responsiveness, dedication and ability to build relationships.

She specializes in the protection and defense of intellectual property rights (primarily trademarks, designs and domain names). She assists her clients, both in France and internationally, with the strategy, management, protection and defense of their trademark portfolios. She also acts in administrative litigation relating to trademarks and domain names, as well as conducting audits.

Sophie Gibert joined De Gaulle Fleurance in 2006, having previously worked for nearly five years for a French company in the luxury sector, where she managed intellectual property rights (trademarks, designs and patents) in France and abroad. She is a graduate of the University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

Diego Romero

Clients value Diego Romero for his reliability, his insight and his thorough mastery of his cases.

Diego Romero, who is trilingual (English, Spanish and French), represents clients in international arbitration proceedings under the institutional rules of the ICC, the LCIA and ICSID, as well as in ad hoc arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL Rules, focusing primarily on disputes in Latin America. He has extensive experience in arbitrations relating to the mining sector and commercial disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, distribution agreements and concessions in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical and automotive sectors.

In addition, Diego is actively involved in various associations aimed at promoting and developing international arbitration in Latin America. Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance in 2024, he worked at an international law firm for eight years. Admitted to the bars of Colombia, New York and Paris, Diego holds an LLM (Master of Laws) from Columbia Law School in New York and a Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
