De Gaulle Fleurance advised Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe, La Banque Postale and Crédit Coopératif for the financing of new projects of Tryba Energy

As a significant player in the energy transition, Tryba Energy completed the financing of a €100 million project portfolio at the end of 2022, organized by Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe and La Banque Postale, which will enable it to move into new energy markets.

Created in 2008 and managing more than 200 sites in France, Europe and Africa for a volume of projects of about 250 MW in development, Tryba Energy is a subsidiary dedicated to the development, financing, construction and operation of photovoltaic installations of the Tryba group, known for its industrial activity as a manufacturer-fitter of windows since 1980.

In addition to the renewable energy production activity, this financing also enables the direct sale of green energy to companies in the form of a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) and individual and collective self-consumption.

Within the framework of this project, De Gaulle Fleurance (Jonathan Souffir, partner, Claire Haas, senior counsel, and Louis Ngamou, junior associate) advised Caisse d’Epargne Grand-Est Europe, La Banque Postale and Crédit Coopératif. This banking pool chose to support Tryba Energy by granting a total bank financing of €100 million in two instalments: the first one to refinance projects in use, and the second one for projects under development.
