De Gaulle Fleurance advised the Actual Leader group on the acquisition of the Ergalis group

Deals 6 December 2022

The independent Actual Leader group, the 7th largest independent French player in temporary work and human resources, finalised the acquisition of the Ergalis group from the French fund LFPI and Frédéric Noyer, among others, on October 27th, 2022, thus moving up to 5th place in its market.

The Actual Leader group has more than 550 agencies in France offering a wide range of human resources solutions: employment agencies (temporary work and recruitment), job placement agencies, support organisations, recruitment agencies, training organisations, talent consultancy (attractiveness, retention, development, assessment).

The acquisition of Ergalis by the Actual Leader Group enables it to consolidate its position in France in temporary work and recruitment in the tertiary sector, in local temporary work in limitedly covered areas and in outsourced recruitment services (RPO). With this transaction, Actual Leader Group expects to achieve a turnover of more than €1.6 billion, including €1.4 billion in temporary work and recruitment in France with 700 agencies.

De Gaulle Fleurance assisted the Actual Leader group in this transaction on the M&A/Corporate aspects (François Zocchetto, partner, David Faravelon, senior associate, Sandrine Trigo, senior counsel, and Paul Lefevre, associate), on financing (Jonathan Souffir, partner, and Louis Ngamou, associate), on competition issues (Thierry Titone, partner, and Caroline Palmer, associate), on tax law (Frédéric Paquet, senior counsel, and Charles-Hubert Vanoverberghe, senior associate) and on employment law (Claire Tergeman, senior counsel).

« This important acquisition in the temporary employment sector provides the Actual Leader group with outstanding development opportunities. We are delighted to have been involved in the success of the transaction and its financing by supporting the Actual Leader group throughout the various stages of this structuring operation»,

report François Zocchetto and Jonathan Souffir, partners in the law firm De Gaulle Fleurance.
