Le Roux

A member of the Paris Bar, Christian Le Roux has built a career at the intersection of law, public institutions and corporate management.

For 10 years, he served as general secretary of an SME and as a member of its executive committee, with responsibility for legal and regulatory affairs, human resources, communications, public affairs and corporate social responsibility. This experience within a company’s senior management has given him practical insight into the challenges faced by business leaders.

His career has also taken him to the heart of public institutions. In particular, he has served as Chief of Staff to the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Chief of Staff to the Ombudsman of the Republic, Chief of Staff to the Minister for the Civil Service, Regional Planning and State Reform, and Chief of Staff to the President of the Association of Mayors of France. He has also held elected office in Paris, including as first deputy mayor of the 7th arrondissement and as a member of the Paris General Council.
These roles have given him an in-depth understanding of how the civil service operates and of the relationship between the business world and the public sector. Having been involved in numerous mediation processes, he also acts as a facilitator in relations between businesses and regulatory bodies.

Active in the business and voluntary sectors, Christian is also vice-president of the agri-food division and chair of the innovation sector at Medef International. He is an ambassador for WWF France’s ‘Odyssée du vivant’ initiative and a participant in the 64th IHEDN defence policy course; he is also a lieutenant-colonel in the French Army’s citizen reserve.
