Seynabou trained in leading Paris business law firms before relocating to Senegal, where, since January 2016, she has headed the local offices of top-tier international business law firms.
She advises a local and international, public and private clientele across a wide range of legal areas and industry sectors in Africa, particularly in private equity and acquisitions, infrastructure, telecommunications, environment and sustainable development, energy, and natural resources.
She notably advises on OHADA law across the 17 African countries governed by this legal framework, assisting governments and public institutions with legislative reforms, the implementation of major projects, and contractual relations with domestic and foreign partners, while also supporting foreign investors with company formation, mergers and acquisitions, and contractual matters.
She also advises on environmental law in infrastructure projects, the mining industry, and renewable and conventional energy law.
Seynabou regularly delivers training sessions and speaks at conferences in Senegal and abroad on the business environment in Africa, including key issues, challenges, and current topics.
