Léa Oïffer-Bomsel intervenes in banking and finance law. She advises asset management companies, investment service providers, credit institutions and insurance companies on the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to their activity. In this context, she deals with all regulatory issues relating to the structure of these financial institutions, investment services, banking and insurance operations, as well as digital asset services.

 

Her practice includes representation of financial institutions in supervisory proceedings and litigation before the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR).

 

Léa Oïffer-Bomsel has also developed strong skills in structuring investment funds. In this context, she advises asset management companies subject to the AIFM directive on the creation and marketing of their investment funds (FPCI, FIPS, SLP, OFS, “Other FIAs” etc.).

 

In addition, Léa Oïffer-Bomsel advises institutional investors on investing in a broad range of investment funds assisting them in negotiating the governing documents of the funds including the articles of incorporation, by-laws, or other organizational documents of the funds.

 

Finally, Léa Oïffer-Bomsel assists innovative project developers in the context of the registration and optional approval procedure as a digital asset service provider (prestataires de services sur actifs numériques) with the AMF.

 

Before joining the De Gaulle Fleurance Avocats Notaires group, Léa worked as a lawyer in the Legal Department of the portfolio management company La Française Asset Management and of the insurance company AXA France.
