White collar crime: Albane Lancrenon named partner at De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés

De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés is strengthening its white collar crime law practice through the nomination of Albane Lancrenon as a partner.

An attorney at De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés since 2014, Albane Lancrenon has developed a recognized expertise in the field of criminal business law. She belongs to the new generation of female criminal lawyers who combine a high level of technicality with a willingness to defend their clients with conviction before the criminal courts.

Albane Lancrenon builds her criminal defense by adapting her procedural mastery to the strategic and economic stakes of her clients (executives and companies).

She assists companies in the upstream prevention and identification of criminal risk and in the training of managers and teams prior to criminal proceedings. Albane Lancrenon also brings her expertise to companies for the management of crisis situations by intervening at 360° on the procedural level, in the framework of external communication and in the implementation of internal corrective measures.

Faced with the increasing scope of criminal risk, she intervenes both for offences or risks of offences affecting the normal course of business (misuse of corporate assets, fraud, criminal labour law or tax fraud) and for aspects that have been strengthened more recently such as environmental offences, cybercrime and the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Albane Lancrenon has also developed a compliance practice in the implementation of anti-corruption compliance measures under the Sapin II law and in the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism (LCB-FT), in addition to post sanction monitoring.

Prior to joining De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, Albane Lancrenon practiced in law firms specializing in white collar crime, and then for the AMF’s Enforcement Committee and Investigations and Control Department. With such a mastery of administrative procedures, she assists professionals in the context of proceedings conducted by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Régulation (ACPR) and the Agence Française Anticorruption (AFA).

Albane Lancrenon holds a DEA in general private law (2000) from the University of Paris XII and a master’s degree in private law – judicial careers (1999). She is a member of the Association des avocats pénalistes (ADAP) and the Club des Femmes pénalistes.

“I am proud of this development”, confides Albane Lancrenon, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés. “Criminal risk is now at the heart of all economic activity. Managers and companies are forced to deal with a strengthening of regulations and an inflation of criminal sanctions, along with reputational risks and stakes in terms of business. Criminal proceedings have taken on a different face today, as compliance obligations have had the effect of extending the responsibilities of managers. Companies need to be supported on this subject, from the prevention of these risks to the management of their criminal proceedings.

“We are delighted to welcome Albane to our team of partners,” explain Louis de Gaulle and Henri-Nicolas Fleurance, respectively Chairman and Managing Director of De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés. “This promotion marks a strong commitment and results that have been achieved. It is also a way to strengthen the litigation services we offer to our clients, who are increasingly aware of the issues related to the criminalization of business law.”
