De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés (Frédéric Destal and Solène Penisson) attended presentations related to the Broadmap project on innovative public procurements for critical communications before the European Commission and representatives from industries, European institutions and national authorities on 5 and 6 April in Brussels.
The Broadmap project, funded by the European Commission in the framework of Horizon 2020 innovation program, is composed by 18 European and non-European countries to implement a new generation of critical communications (i.e. public protection and disaster relief). Frédéric Destal, Jean-Sébastien Mariez and Solène Pénisson from our law firm assisted the countries on issues related to public-private partnerships for research and development (Pre-Commercial Procurement – PCP), innovative public procurements (Public Procurement of Innovation – PPI) and intellectual property rights.
