Alexandra Nowak’s practice focuses on energy, environmental and CSR matters.
Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, she worked as a Programme Specialist for the US Department of Energy (DOE) in the Paris office of the US Permanent Delegation to the OECD for nearly 8 years. She was seconded to the International Energy Agency to work on issues of access to decentralised renewable electricity and to lead an intergovernmental initiative on the promotion of women in renewable energy.
She previously worked in the audiovisual sector for 11 years in the United States, in particular in the legal departments of production companies and a law firm. She has also been involved in the United Nations campaign on the responsibility linked to the production of chemical products and hazardous waste, following the writing of her dissertation on the ecological management of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Alexandra co-leads the three working groups of the association La Plateforme Verte dedicated to electric mobility, storage and agrivoltaics.
She is Franco-American.
