Sandra Strittmatter joins De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés to contribute to the development of activities in legal advice and litigation in intellectual property law (trademarks, designs, copyright, patents, domain names), unfair and parasitic competition, information technology law, data privacy, advertising law (particularly in the area of alcoholic beverages) and personality rights (privacy rights, image rights).
Recognized for her dual professional experience in law firms and as in-house counsel as well as international openness, her expertise and profile will support De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés’ already existing resources in the areas of intellectual property and new technologies. A French-German who also speaks other languages, she brings to our law firm her experience in national and international cases where she assists French and foreign industrial groups, especially in the food sectors (particularly wines and spirits) and high technology sectors. She explains her plan at De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés: “I will be working more specifically with international players in the areas of intellectual property and new technologies, while developing the German-speaking clientele, and I will also work closely with partners on cross-cutting matters in different industrial sectors”. Sandra Strittmatter holds a Master degree in Information Technology Law, from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas and an L.L.M. (Master of Laws) in Intellectual Property Law, from King’s College London, University of London. She also holds a L.L.M. (Magister Legum), from the University of Cologne and a Master’s degree in French and German Laws, from the University of Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne, acquired through the French-German Masters Program of the Universities of Paris I/Cologne. Attorney-at-law the Paris Bar since 2002, she has worked in several Anglo-American business firms as well as for companies (Pernod Ricard). She is Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the APRAM (Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners), and is also a member of the INTA (International Trademark Association) and GRUR (Deutsche Vereinigung für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht - German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
