Blaise Philippe Chaumont joins the business law firm de Gaulle Fleurance & Associés as a partner in to reinforce its M&A and structuring expertise.
For the majority of his career, Blaise Philippe Chaumont served at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and at the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). From 2005 to 2009 he was responsible for the negotiation of international tax treaties, before joining the Staff of Ms Christine Lagarde and Mr Eric Woerth as tax policy advisor. Appointed in 2011 deputy chief of staff of Mr. François Baroin, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, in charge of taxation, competition, competitiveness, legal matters and distressed businesses, he later went on to join MsValérie Pécresse as her chief of staff early 2012.
