11/04/12
In the context of the maintaining of the Unemployment Insurance’s financial balance, Unédic implemented in November 2009 a Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) Programme amounting to 14 billion Euros in total. Pursuant to this EMTN Programme, Unédic, a joint organization in charge of managing Unemployment Insurance, has just performed :
  • two bond issues with 3 and 7 year maturity terms, and
  • a second contribution of the initial issue performed in March 2011.
These three issues were performed on 27 and 29 February 2012 and allowed Unédic raising 3.85 billion Euros. These guarantees secured by the State have met with a great success.   In addition to the assistance provided, De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés also advised Unédic in the update of the basic Prospectus Securities authorized by the Securities and Markets Authorities on 26 March 2012.   Unédic was advised by De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés. BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, HSBC France and Natixis, leaders in this market and partners in this case, as well as the other investors (DZ Bank AG, HELABA and Crédit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, as the case may be) were advised by Gide Loyrette Nouel.
