The Club des Juristes, French legal think-tank, announces today the launch of a new thematic Commission devoted to "Iran, a New Territory of Law and Business" (press release online in French only).
A dozen actors from the French and Iranian legal and business sectors will hold hearings and solicit written contributions from French and Iranian experts (lawyers, academics, representatives of public services) to brush up as precise a landscape as possible of situations, experiences and interests. The Commission will decipher the institutional and legal environment of Iran and map issues and prospects of the legal & business structures, for the benefit of states, citizens and economic actors. Co-President of the Commission with Dominique Perben, Louis de Gaulle explains: "In order to facilitate the development of cross-business relationships, the Commission's objective is to identify the legal obstacles to investment between France and Iran, and to produce operational legal recommendations for business and policy makers ". A Summary Report will be published in the summer of 2018.
