Matthieu Barthélemy joins the law firm De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés as a Partner.
He has been advising French and international credit institutions, investment funds, as well as industrial and service groups since 1999. He handles commercial, banking, financial and civil liability litigation matters, financing and capital markets transactions, as well as debt restructuring, distressed companies and insolvency matters, both advising clients and representing them at court.
His expertise in complex corporate issues for companies of all sizes, particularly in the context of international transactions, will develop the resources already allocated by De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés in financial litigation, restructuring and financing.
Matthieu Barthélemy holds a Master’s degree in business law (1998) from the University of Paris X Nanterre, as well as a postgraduate degree (DESS) in corporate taxation (1997) and a Master’s degree in management sciences (1996) from the University of Paris IX Dauphine. He is an active member of the Society of Turnaround Professionals (Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises – ARE).
