De Gaulle Fleurance assisted the Opéra national de Paris with its first NFT collection

Every season, the Opéra national de Paris innovates to highlight artists and share the best of the lyrical and choreographic arts as widely as possible. It has thus become the first French cultural institution to create and market its own NFTs on a dedicated platform.

For its first NFT collection, the Opéra national de Paris invited the French collective of artists, Obvious, which is known worldwide in the Web3. Each work in this collection is unique, both visually and musically, and presents a dreamlike ballet inspired by the 4 seasons.

Pre-sales began on 14 March 2023 and public sales opened on 15 March. The NFTs will be revealed on 21 March 2023 on the Opera’s dedicated platform (https://nft.operadeparis.fr).

De Gaulle Fleurance (Julien Horn, partner, Céline Forthomme, senior legal manager, and Adèle Binnié, attorney) assisted the Opera in the contractual structure of this operation as well as in the protection of the Opera’s trademarks in the Web3.

« We are delighted to have assisted the Opéra national de Paris for this operation», explains Julien Horn, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance. « By launching this NFT platform, the Opera is innovating, attracting new audiences and opening the field to new experiences. »
